Pro-abortion advocates always use gentle words to cover up dark deeds. Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics bill themselves as tolerant, welcoming, compassionate and caring.

But yesterday in front of the Supreme Court, radical pro-abortion women revealed their true colors. They screamed at the top of their lungs, pounded their fists, cursed profanities and celebrated abortions all to defend an immoral choice.

Actress Busy Philipps, after describing her successful career, shrieked in a livid rant, “I have all of this, all of it, because, because, because I was allowed bodily autonomy at 15. I will not be shamed into being quiet. We will not be shamed into being quiet. Never again. I will never stop talking about my abortion, or my periods, or my experiences in childbirth, my episiotomies, my yeast infections, or my ovulation that lines up with the moon.”

Renee Bracey Sherman, who describes herself as the “Beyoncé of Abortion Story Telling” bellowed, “Where are the abortion providers at?! Where are the future abortion providers at?! Woohoo! And in a special shout-out, to where are my people who have had abortions?! Where are y’all at?! Awesome,” she cried.

“I had an abortion when I was 19. It was honestly one of the best decisions of my life – I was simply not ready to be a parent, and that’s really all you need to know,” Sherman shouted.

Pro-abortion advocates sometimes describe abortion as a difficult, terrible or heart wrenching choice. But over the past few years, we’ve seen abortion increasingly defended as a morally good, positive decision.

Our society has almost instantaneously moved away from the mantra of “safe, legal and rare.” Now, entire websites are dedicated to helping women “shout their abortion.” Just like when Michelle Wolf delivered a “Salute to Abortions” declaring, “If you want an abortion, get one,” likening abortion to a piece of candy, or a new car.

It can be deeply disturbing to see an evil practice endorsed with such fervor, and that’s what we saw yesterday on the steps of the Supreme Court.

Let’s pray that these shouts of anger are the dying gasps of the depraved and losing pro-abortion side.
