Sponsoring a Flag at Biden’s Inauguration Sends Donation to Planned Parenthood
The Biden Inaugural Committee hosted a symbolic “Field of Flags on the National Mall” display today for President Biden’s inauguration. It included around 191,500 American flags to represent those who could not attend today’s ceremony due to COVID-19.
The committee offers Americans the ability to become a “symbolic sponsor” of the event.
“To include the American people in the inaugural ceremonies, we welcome Americans to become a symbolic sponsor of the Field of Flags,” the committee writes.
However, to sponsor a flag at the mall, one must also fund abortions.
The donation page notes that the individual’s contribution will be split between 95 different groups, including the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
Other recipients of the contributions include the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF), the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) and the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
Additionally, if someone gives a donation, they will be instantly subscribed to receive emails from Planned Parenthood.
“You’ll receive emails from Planned Parenthood organizations. You may unsubscribe at any time,” the donation page states at the bottom.
As National Review reports, “Americans who quickly make a donation to sponsor a flag on the Mall might very well unwittingly contribute to the nation’s largest, most profitable abortion corporation — and they have no choice but to opt in to that corporation’s email subscription list. This isn’t terribly surprising considering that such a fundraising drive is being sponsored by the committee for an incoming administration that Planned Parenthood’s executives are busy helping to staff.”
