Focus on the Family hosted See Life 2021 on Saturday evening in Dallas, Texas! Live from the American Airlines Center, many pro-life supporters joined in person to help celebrate life in the womb with thousands more joining online. The event featured live worship with Matthew West, and amazing pro-life stories.

See Life 2021 was co-hosted by Focus President Jim Daly and Amy Ford, president of the pro-life, non-profit organization Embrace Grace.

Starting just after 7PM CT, Focus on the Family’s Daily Broadcast co-host John Fuller kicked off the night and asked Sixto Porras, Regional Director for Focus on the Family Latin America, to pray for the evening.

Now, it’s important to note that organizations like Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and Emily’s List spend tens of millions of dollars each year promoting abortion, and they often receive loads of national media attention.

But the stories of those heroes who do vital pro-life work by saving babies and helping women often remain untold.

Daly said that the goal of See Life 2021 was to shine a spotlight on all the great work that these pro-life advocates are doing around the nation.

“Here’s the bottom line. Good things are happening in the pro-life movement,” Daly said.

“There’s so many good things going on in the country … I’m so excited for the next generation as well, because they are more pro-life than the older generation and that’s a very good thing. Life is winning!”

One of those everyday heroes is David Williams, who won See Life 2021’s “Pro-Life Impact Story Award.”

In a recorded video, Williams recounted how many years ago, he had encouraged his girlfriend to have an abortion. He relayed the “very deep depression” and regret that went along with that decision, and how later asking Jesus Christ to forgive his sins provided him with a peace that he had never known.

Now, Williams volunteers for Save One, an organization that works to help men, women and families recover after an abortion.

On stage with Williams, Daly announced that Focus on the Family is donating $5,000 to Save One to honor Williams and his story of redemption.

Featured as a main speaker was Nick Vujicic, a Christian evangelist who was born with no arms and no legs. Vujicic exhorted the audience and viewers to get engaged in the pro-life cause, and reminded them of God’s love.

“God loves you and there is forgiveness and redemption for any one of you who have ever been associated [with] an abortion. The blood of Jesus … covers all sins … He can redeem you,” Vujicic said.

Throughout the evening, Matthew West played some of his most popular songs including “Grace Wins,” “Hello, My Name Is,” and “Do Something.”

Leading up to this evening’s celebration, Focus on the Family released six See Life digital episodes which explored topics like when life actually begins, how we can have pro-life conversations with others and a myriad of other topics.

See Life 2021 is the third such iteration of the event. Starting in 2019, Focus on the Family held Alive from New York after the Empire State passed a radical bill which, for all intents and purposes, legalized abortion up until the moment of birth. Focus performed a live 4D ultrasound from Times Square, showing tens of thousands of people the reality of life in the womb.

If you missed See Life 2021, you can still view the program and all six digital episodes by visiting our See Life 2021 webpage here. There you can also get more involved in the pro-life cause, share your pro-life impact story or donate $60 to save a baby’s life.
