Watch 18 New Family and Faith-Friendly Christmas Movies on Great American Family
Great American Family announced its lineup of 18 new family and faith-friendly movies for their “Great American Christmas,” and we are here for it!
The original Christmas movie slate begins on October 21. The network will run new Christmas film premieres every weekend leading up to Christmas. And Christmas programming will air 24/7 on the network until the end of the year. See the full schedule below.
You may remember that former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott left Hallmark around the time Hallmark started caving to the demands of “LGBTQ” activists, and the channel began to air progressive, same-sex-affirming content.
Since then, Abbott joined Great America Media as CEO and President with a plan to provide family and faith-friendly content.
And he’s brought many fan favorites to the new network, including Candace Cameron Bure, Danica McKeller, Daniel Lissing, Jill Wagner, Cameron Mathison, Jen Lilley, Casey Elliott, and many others.
This past April, Candace Cameron Bure announced her departure from the Hallmark Channel. In a statement explaining her departure, she said, “I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch. I am constantly looking for ways that I can inspire people to live life with purpose.”
She’ll be doing more than just starring in films; she’ll be directing them too. Her first Great American Family film will be a Christmas feature titled “A Christmas…Present” airing Sunday, November 27.
In an interview with Variety last month, Bure shared that she is excited about the overall content she will be able to produce at Great American Family network, including “faith content,” “Christmas movies,” and “patriotic content.”
And she’s not the only former Hallmark star who will be acting and producing. Danica McKellar is an executive producer in the new Christmas movie titled “Christmas at the Drive-In” premiering Friday, November 25.
When most networks on television are going woke and producing content that’s not appropriate for children, Great American Media CEO Abbott knows what people want, “quality family programming,” and he’s not afraid to give it to them.
Thank goodness for networks like Great American Family that understand the importance of creating wholesome content for the whole family.
This Christmas let’s make sure to support television networks that promote faith, family and America, like Great American Family.
